On My Nighstand

These books currently reside on my nightstand.

"The Friday Night Knitting Club" by Kate Jacobs because it's good to read something light once in a while.
Shakespeare's Sonnets because who doesn't like being "compared to a summer's day" (plus I'm a romantic at heart).
"If You Come Softly" by Jacqueline Woodson because it's important to read what my students are reading.
